This afternoon I had some time to take the Roadeo fork over to the big brown trucks and ship it back to its creator for repair.
Then I rambled all through town, followed the signs for the "Bike Route" for the first time, Up through the hill-side neighborhoods finding many dead ends, and then up through the park to home.
Perfect way to cap off the week. Now to get dinner ready.

Days are getting a little longer and warmer!
I was on my way to get the vegetables when I decided to pull into McGrath State Park and explore some of the trails along the south side of the Santa Clara
The winter rains have kept things flowing, the estuary is drained out a bit and everything nearby is green and blooming.
Explored some of the trails through the canopy
Then back to the mission at hand, well stocked for the week and heading home.
We had Oma and Oppie out to visit all day, and play with the baby. Giving us the chance to nibble at some couple time throughout the day. We used part of the morning to ride out to get some fresh mushrooms at the farm and then over to the harbor for some fish. The eats are going to be good at home this week.
The Roadeo is resting in the corner while I figure out a next path of action. I tried to realign the dropout, but it is going to need to be replaced. I knocked the dust off of the Rawland this morning and moved the luggage over.
While on a quick run to get the mail I rode past some big time news in a small town
Definitely not something you see every day, and drew a pretty big crowd.

This winter has been an incredible display of weather extremes here in Ventura. Five days ago was rain with snow down to 4000 feet. Today it was 60deg before the sun came up. Made some time for a quick surf check and a little dirt on the way home.
I am done saying spring has sprung, but get out and enjoy the warm weather!

Time to get to work.
