I was out in time to catch the moon set this morning over Santa Barbara, tonight is the full moon
Full moon tides combined with swell for sea water puddles along the coast.
About 3 miles into the ride I crossed paths with a pod of dolphin surfing down the coast in the other direction, ended up chasing them a mile back to grab some pictures.

I probably should have been surfing this morning, but would have had a 45 min time window. I can ride with lights, surfing is a little harder in the dark. Daylight savings time is the bane of people who enjoy their mornings, I have dreamed for years of abolishing it.
I ended up putting the fenders back on the Rawland last night. 3 days in a row of wet misty mornings, with a week more due to come. Yesterday saw th MS ride come through town and I was daydreaming of being a fender salesman as hundreds went by with wet grimy stripes up their backs. Oh to spread the fender gospel, even here in sunny California
