Tomorrow I will be getting together with some of the guys from The 
SoCal Rivendell Riders for a little fun on a mixed terrain ride out in Orange in an attempt to summit Santiago Peak, there is a chance for some rougher downhill on the fire roads, and this morning I chickened out, and pulled the front JackBrown for a Maraton XR 700x37 I had hanging in the garage. It fits through the shimano sidepulls just fine, thanks Grant for designing a "Road" bike like this.
